Work with the Physical Planning Division
JICA volunteers have worked with the Physical Planning Division from 2006 - 2012. Training and projects were focused specifically on Geographic Information Systems (GIS).

Canadian Institute of Planners (CIP)
About
"Founded in 1919, the Canadian Institute of Planners (CIP) is the national organization of professional planners in Canada. CIP and seven provincial-level affiliate organizations based across Canada provide membership services. CIP has managed an international internship program on behalf of the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) since 1998.
The WorldLink International Internship Program for Planners provides entry-level professional work experience to recent graduates interested in gaining their first paid overseas work experience in the planning field. Working in partnership with other Canadian private and non-profit organizations managing international planning projects, the WorldLink Program has successfully placed over 100 recent graduates in internship positions in over 30 developing countries and economies in transition." www.cip-icu.ca
