Vegetation

Generally developments are placed where the overall landscape and views are attractive. However in the process of doing so, the natural vegetation is altered or removed to create an artificial landscape of the developers liking. The existing vegetation that helps to form Dominica's dramatic landscape is a response to altitude, rainfall and wind patterns, which is obvious as one travels across the island from the east to west coast. Regardless of their location, developments that create strong relationships with vegetation within the natural setting can complement this landscape.
