The Building Regulations 2022 (PDF, 3.21 MB) provides the Physical Planning Authorities with the tools needed for examination of development proposals to ensure that all developments are in concert with the physical, social and economic environment of the OECS. The requirements of the Building Code govern the construction of all buildings where as the Building Guidelines are to be used for the design and construction of simple buildings such as private dwellings and small retail shops of less than 3,000 square feet in gross area.
